Each year the Government publish our results and compare us to other schools nationally. Here is what they said about how our school did in the tasks and tests in the year 2004.The Government expects the average 7 year old to achieve level 2 and the statements below are based on pupils achieving this level.
- The school's performance in Reading is well above the national average
- The school's performance in Writing is above in comparison to the national average
- The school's performance in Mathematics very high in comparison with national average
- The school's performance in Science teacher assessments was above comparison with the national average

Here are a few of our highlights:
- In Year 2 all children met or exceeded their targets in all subjects
- Good results for reading with 50% of all boys and girls attaining Level3+. Good results for high attaining girls with 50% level 3+
- Exceptional maths results with 75% of children attaining Level 3+. This shows an improvement on last year's results, particularly for able pupils
Why did our children achieve so well?
- Excellent teaching.
- Focus on reading this year- quiet reading session introduced for KS1. In addition children now complete weekly book reviews
- Thinking skills activities have enabled children to challenge their own learning
- Small class size. (12)
- Challenging activities given to all
- We are very proud of our children, our staff and our school community
