Rode School Homework

PDF: Rode School Prospectus 2009

We would encourage all parents and carers to read with their children throughout their time at Rode School. Regular reading time with your child is invaluable, not only for practice but also for motivation. If parents show enthusiasm for books, it is our experience that children will share their interest. Our best readers are those who work hard in school and read each night with and adult at home.

From Year 2 the children are set two to three pieces of more formal homework in addition to their reading homework.

If your child says that the teacher has not given any homework, it is advisable to check with the school.
