Forest Schools
Urgent - Transport needed
Can you help with the transportation of children to or from Amerdown Forest on the morning of Monday 14th January? If you can please speak to Mrs Nicol or myself asap.
School Dinners
We are delighted to inform you that our school dinners will commence on Monday 14th January 2008. Attached are 2 copies of the menus for the following 4 weeks. If you would like your child to have lunches you will need to pay in full for 4 weeks, or part thereof, in advance. The cost is £2.00/lunch/day. Please highlight your childs choice for each day lunch is required on one copy of the menu and return it with full payment to the office by Friday 11th January. Cheques should be made payable to Rode Methodist VC First School. The second copy is for your information. We recommend that you make a note of choices made!
Unfortunately we are unable to accept changes to bookings made during this initial 4-week period. However if your child is absent, due to illness, a credit will be carried forward to the following 4-week period.
Please note that parents do not have to pay for school lunches if they receive income support, income-based jobseekers allowance, child tax credit, (provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income that does not exceed £14,495) or the Guarantee element of State Pension Credit. Please speak to either Mrs Nicol or myself for further details.
All children will need to continue to provide their own labelled water bottle, with clean fresh water each day. They will use these at lunchtimes. Lastly, it would help us considerably and keep confusion to the minimum if all lunch boxes could be labelled clearly with your childs name on the outside! Many thanks!
