This is a fun garden and the children often gather here at playtime, mainly to play in the large yellow boat that resides in the corner. The Beach Garden has been created to continue this 'maritime' theme a little.

Look to the back of the planting, next to the ribes (red-flowering current) and the Robinia tree, and you will be able to spot a small red and white lighthouse, in the distance. The garden is even home to its very own lobster pot, complete with crab, which is always trying to climb out of the top!

Another popular feature that the children seem to particularly like are the wooden stepping logs, and the four large logs, which they either sit on, jump across or draw pictures on using coloured chalk.
